About

Rising Star Libbie Price has been making a name for herself within the music industry, by captivating her listeners with her uniquely smokey, soulful voice and original sound. Her work has been likened to those of Adele, Stevie Nicks & Stereophonics, due to her emotive, haunting range, that is infused with plenty of grit and energy.

Libbie Price’s career really started to take off when she was 19 years old, after she had the opportunity to play LAKEFEST 2024, alongside artists like Olly Murs and The Libertines. She has since formed and fronts the original rock band Silk Red, which she’s performs in around the Midlands, alongside her original solo work. Currently recording both her debut solo and band album, Libbie’s music will be available to be listened to over the coming months, by her eagerly anticipated fans.

Raised in a musical family, Libbie grew up listening to a variety of different music, gaining inspiration from the very best Rock, Pop and Soul artists that ruled the decades from the 70s through to the 00s. She started out her music career from a young age, taking to the stage and performing with her dad and brother accompanying her on the guitar. At the age of 8, Libbie taught herself to play piano by ear, as she struggled to read sheet music and notation, it is her main accompaniment, songwriting companion and she can be rarely seen without her favourite piano in tow.

When Libbie’s away from her music, you will either find her out in nature with her dogs and horses, reading a gripping book or spending her time with her friends and family. She also just happens to be big FRIENDS fan, loves the band McFly and has been known to enjoy a good movie marathon.
